Rajasthan: 48,000 incomplete PMAY-G homes in 10 districts to be inspected

JAIPUR: Rural development and panchayati raj minister Ramesh Chand Meena on Friday gave directions to conduct a state-level inspection of 48,344 houses in 10 districts, the construction of which remained incomplete under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Grameen (PMAY-G) during the period 2016-17 to 2020-21.

The 10 districts include Barmer, Tonk, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Jalore and Banswara.

He also directed the officials of the department to release the second instalment in 15 days after the inspection.

“Also, construction of 58,479 houses that are in progress should be completed soon,” he said.
