Lucknow development body to cancel allotment of 150 houses
LUCKNOW: After conducting a survey, Lucknow Development Authority has decided to cancel the allotment of 150 ‘Sulabh’ scheme houses, as illegal occupants were allegedly found residing in the accommodation.
The action was taken after LDA vice-chairperson Indramani Tripathi sanctioned an order based on a complaint that LDA flats and houses are being used for illegal activities.
In a review meeting on Wednesday, LDA decided to take action against illegal occupants and would vacate such flats and houses in a special drive.
“Allotment of such houses will be cancelled and these would be re-allotted via lottery,” said Tripathi.
